The history of the piano
The very first piano was made in Pauda, Italy during the year 1709. A man by the name of Bartolomeo di Francesco Cristofori founded the piano in a Harpsichord shop. Bartolomeo more perfected the mechanics of a piano from a Clavichord and a Harpsichord, then really inventing something new. The piano was used in classical music, jazz music, for solo performances, for ensembles, chamber music, used as accompaniment, used for composing and rehearsal.
